Getting Your Child Connected
Guests or visiting children will need to pre-register for POWER ZONE programming and for the nursery. You can register when you visit the POWER ZONE Information Booth located in the Fellowship Hall.
We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before programming begins. Upon your arrival, your first stop will be the POWER ZONE Information Booth. At this time we will confirm your registration. In addition, you will receive information about room locations and directions for check-in.
Because POWER ZONE follows a small group/large group format, we encourage families to attend programming at the same time each weekend. This will allow your child to better connect with the children in their small group and their leaders.

Nursery
The POWER ZONE Nursery is committed to providing a safe, nurturing Christian environment for young children. Nursery is available for all worship services at Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
For more information about our weekend nursery, contact Tara Fenton.
Early Childhood & Elementary
POWER ZONE programming for children in Kindergarten is available Sunday Mornings during the 8:45 and 10:30 worship services, and for children age 2-4 Sundays during the 8:45 and 10:30 worship services. Check in is 10 minutes before the start of each worship service.
Your child will have the opportunity to build friendships and learn about the Bible lesson by first participating in a small group in their classroom. Your child will learn about the Bible lesson through games, crafts, age-appropriate Bible lessons and application activities. Following small group time, children travel to our POWERZONE Sanctuary, for a large group lesson. This is a high-energy environment that teaches the Bible lesson for the week through songs, drama, and group participation. Preschoolers in POWER ZONE are part of a fun and creative experience designed to encourage kids as they grow in their walk with God.
