Small Groups Ministry
Our church’s goal is that every member is involved in a small group. Small groups meet according to the members’ schedules and are a place where people can be nurtured and cared for, as well as where one can learn more and grow deeper in their faith.
Women's Ministry: Throughout the year the women of our church have many fellowship opportunities including working together through the United Methodist Women, who meet once a month to plan activities in order to raise money for ministries with youth and children. Our women also travel annually to the “Women of Faith Conference” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and hold an Annual Women’s Day at Gethsemane. Recently, the church held a “Celebration of Women” Banquet.
Men's Ministry:Loren Williams heads up this group, which meets Sunday mornings at 7am in Room 5.
Where lives are transformed through the Love and Power of Jesus Christ by intentionally...Welcoming others into the Body of Christ and providing support, encouragement, and love through Fellowship.

What church would be complete without them? We have many gatherings throughout the year including Thanksgiving, our Annual Church Picnic, and Easter.
Gethsemane Softball Team: The Gethsemane Flames had a great second season with the local Christian Softball League. Way to go Flames.
Hospitality: If you enjoy meeting new people, this may be the ministry for you. Deana Bredbenner and Van and Penny Milligan spearhead this group. Every Sunday morning at 8 am, anyone who wants to greet for the day prays with the group before showing their friendly smiles to those in our church for the day.
This month we are featuring our Singles Group, which is led by Jerell Thomas, and Angela Anderson. This group was originated with the idea that it would be good to be part of a Christian group. This ever changing group is open to all adult singles from college age on up. This group meets as the church on Sundays at 10:30am in Linda's office. Past studies have included "The Search for Significance" and "The Five Love Languages for Singles".
One of the unique features of this group is their monthly social activities. In addition to it's Sunday meetings, this group also plans a monthly social event. Game night is the fourth Saturday of every month from 7-10pm. Email Angela if you would like to know more about this group.
