 Welcome to our Small Groups Directory for Spring 2009. NOTE FROM LINDA: Hello everyone! I want to encourage you once again to consider joining a small group. It is in your group that you will really get to read and discuss the material in our “God: EXPOSED study, and learn some of the not-so-obvious things about God. The small group Study Guide material ties in with the topic of the Sunday message, but goes much further than what you hear on Sunday. For example, this week the groups are discussing the Garden of Eden story, and you might have heard Tim Young’s excellent message about how sin came into the world and the many ways that Satan is still trying to trick us. But have you asked yourself how does this affect my life? What does God want me to learn from this story? Why does God allow us to be tempted? Why are male-female relationships what they are today? Are they the way God intended? Those are just a few of the many things my group discussed when we met. In addition to that, we spent a little time eating snacks and talking! That’s what being in a small group is like: you come together to discuss what you’ve read and what you heard in the message on Sunday, and spend a little fun time with some new friends! It really isn’t too late! I know all the groups will welcome you. So what are you waiting for? You can call or e-mail me or the group leader to join any of these groups.
