Women's Groups
Brenda Tarburton: This group meets every Wednesday at 9:00am, rotating among its members homes. This group will also have a strong focus on serving, which might include a serving day each month. They are interested in serving in many ways, from working on Habitat for Humanity houses to serving lunch to home-bound members of our church family. Leader: Brenda Tarburton, 629-5164.
Rachel Drace: This new group is made up of mostly stay-at-home moms, but all women are welcome. They will be meeting at Rachel's home, with the possibility of rotating among their members' homes. They believe that being a mature Christian doesn't have to be boring, and that humor is an important part of their lives. To that end they will be using Anita Renfroe's videos and her new book If You Can't Lose It, Decorate It for their first study. (If you went to Women of Faith, you know how funny Anita Renfroe is!). They are very focused on outreach, and bringing their friends into their group and into the church, which is reflected in their mantra for this new group: "Make a friend, be a friend, bring a friend to Christ."
