A Note From The Pastor
I welcome you to our website. The people of Gethsemane Church look forward to the opportunity to meet and serve you. At Gethsemane, God has shared a vision of what can be, that God is ready to do “abundantly far more than we can ask or imagine” if we only believe and make ourselves get out of His way” (Ephesians 3:20). We have felt “called” to be a contemporary church, reaching out to our community and its people in new and creative ways, helping others to see and experience the love and power of Jesus Christ. At Gethsemane, we stress that “it is not about us;” instead, it is about those who do not know God’s love, who are continuing to try and fill the God-shaped void within with things of the world. We believe that everyone was created with a purpose by God…that purpose is not to just “take up space,” but to make a difference and to impact lives. As a church, we have discovered our purpose. We are here to serve God and touch lives. We pray that we can be there for others and help them to find what we have discovered. We hope you will join us one Sunday.
